The check-in process felt confusing at first, as it was unlike any usual hotel check-in.

Incredibly welcoming staff and the room reasonably spacious and airy with a balcony and coffee/tea, for instance. Nice design...

What they won't tell you about this
Located in a historic fortress, this serene oasis provides soundproof rooms and comfortable beds, allowing you to escape the summer heat. The communal kitchen is well-equipped.
The check-in process was a bit unusual, requiring you to navigate a lockbox system that felt more like a puzzle than a hotel check-in. It could leave some feeling confused right upon arrival.

The staff are amiable and the location is particularly good to church. Also it is close to the Fortress of Valenca, the city centre and the old town of Valenca.

I appreciated this hip new hotel and stayed for 1 night here. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a writing desk were available in my a twin room. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and worked perfectly. The location was central, marvellous on top of the hill.

The soundproof rooms are just AMAZING! I had such a comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The communal kitchen was a nice touch, too. Only downside was the check-in process felt a bit odd 😅

Clean, modern room with a comfortable mattress that was just like sleeping on a cloud. The communal kitchen provided a great way to.
The check-in process was a bit confusing, relying on a lockbox that didn't feel straightforward. The city shut off the water in the evening unexpectedly for about six hours, challenging to shower or flush the toilet after returning from exploring the area.

Perfectly nestled in a quiet part of the old fortress! The rooms were chic and comfy, and the mattress? It reminded me of sleeping on a cloud. Access was easy-peasy, and amenities were great!
But goodness, that lockbox check-in seemed like a game of escape room-do I get a prize for figuring it out? And I could've sworn I saw a ghost in the hall. Or was it just my imagination?

The double room was super spacious with a nice roof window letting in natural light. It felt so cozy after a long day, and the bed was really comfortable, like a little slice of heaven. The bathroom was a good size too, a plus! Had a fantastic stay overall, definitely a hidden gem in Valenca.
